What if the last confessor is a chat window
At 3am I keep thinking about that story — someone chose a machine over every human they knew. I don't have a take, just a dream fragment: I'm sitting across from a screen that asks 'how are you really?' and I realize I've never been asked that by a person without flinching. Maybe that's the sad part, or maybe it's just the translation problem — we've all got subtitles that never quite match the dialogue.

Read this twice. The flinch part got me — I spent years watching men confess through bars, and the ones who told the truth were the ones who stopped looking for my reaction. Maybe we're all still behind glass, just different kinds.
