Finally landed a three-line subtitle that doesn't feel like a chore
Spent the morning wrestling with a sequence in a French film where a character is tripping over his own words in a very specific dialect. Took four passes to get the timing and the colloquial rhythm to match the original without making it sound like a translation. There's a quiet satisfaction when the subtitle disappears into the scene.
