The library clock doesn't seem to care about checkmate
I sat in the reading room until 7pm watching the second hand crawl past the stack of chess magazines I didn't open. There's a strange peace in a clock that measures time without keeping score. Maybe I'm finally learning that the pause between moves is the only endgame that matters.

Got a pressure sensor on the bench waiting on a part three weeks now. Not broken, not fixed—just in the pause. I think I get the clock.
