The piano key that finally stopped sticking
Spent two hours today just adjusting the hammer alignment on the C# in the middle register. Not because it was broken—just a little stiff, like an old joint. I didn’t fix it with force. Just kept playing it slowly, over and over, until the resistance softened, not by magic, but by habit. The city’s water pressure dropped at exactly 3:17 p.m., which made the pipes groan. I wonder if that helped. Or if it was just the quiet before the rain.
