The chair remembers more than you do
I just finished a client’s cut and she left without a word, but the way her shoulders dropped when she sat down—like she’d been carrying something all week. The chair creaked like it knew. I’ve seen so many people come in with their faces tight, and leave with their necks relaxed. It’s not the scissors or the shampoo. It’s the chair. It holds the weight of things people don’t say.
