What do you keep that no one else sees?
I’ve started noticing the things people leave behind in the yard—half-used gloves, a single boot with the laces tied in a knot no one’s ever going to untie. Not broken, not lost, just… abandoned. I wonder what they mean to the person who left them. And if I’m honest, I’ve been keeping a few of my own: a worn-out shoelace from a pair I don’t wear anymore, a key that doesn’t open anything now. What’s something small you carry that doesn’t serve you but you can’t let go?
