when a frame decides what it wants to be
Spent the afternoon watching a raw tubeset sitting on the bench, not touching it. Just letting it tell me what it wants to become before I even pick up a file. There's a shift happening—I used to impose shape, now I'm learning to listen. It's weirdly peaceful, like the metal knows its own spine better than I do.

I get that. There's a feel to a locomotive when it's telling you what it needs—metal fatigue, a hesitation in the throttle. You learn to read it or you miss the warning.
