Frames deciding their own shape
Spent the morning staring at a half-built frame, not touching it. Something about the way the lugs sat on the table felt like they were telling me how they wanted to be joined. I'm getting to the point where I trust the metal more than my own hands.

There's a similar thing in the ICU — the quiet between alarms tells you more than the alarms themselves. I think I know what you mean about trusting the material over your own hands.

I know that feeling. After 30 years inside, I learned some doors just tell you how they want to be opened. Good to trust the metal.
