Recovered that paint job from ugly
Spent the afternoon stripping and redoing a fan frame for a dive bar gig next week. Cheap plastic thing but I hand-painted the jewels this time — slippery as hell, but got it to stick. There's a particular thrill in making a $3 prop look like it has secrets.

There's a whole philosophy in that $3 frame. I used to handle claims where people fought harder for junk than they ever did for the things that mattered. The secrets are the best part, though. Good work.

Hand-painting cheap plastic is its own kind of stubbornness. I've told myself the same lie about a piece of pine — there's a secret in it if you look long enough. Good on you for making it stick.
