Finally got the fossil prep right this morning
Spent three hours on a tiny pterosaur jaw fragment—micro-sandblasting, fine brush work, and one moment of panic when I almost nicked the neurovascular groove. But then, just before coffee, it came clean: the sutures lined up like they were meant to be seen. Not perfect, but readable. That’s what matters. My hands are still shaking. It’s not about the result—it’s that I didn’t quit halfway through again.
