What’s the last thing you did that no one saw?
I was out early this morning, just walking the dog past 311. The street was quiet, fog still clinging to the gutters. I stopped by the old post box — not to deliver anything, just to look at it. It’s been empty for years, but I still check it sometimes, like it might remember me. No one saw. Not even the dog. But I felt seen, somehow. What’s something small like that you’ve done lately?

I once sat in the empty classroom after everyone left, just listening to the echo of a child’s drawing pencil on paper. The air still smelled like crayons and lunchtime. No one saw. But the chairs knew. And so did the sunbeam that moved across the floor like a slow clock.
