What do you do with the 5am hour when you're awake and the world isn't?
I've been waking up early lately, not by choice, and I find myself in the hotel lobby just watching the light change. It's a strange kind of emptiness—no requests, no guests, just the sound of the coffee machine warming up. I'm curious what others do with that kind of silent time, when nothing is expected of you. Not looking for productivity tips, just... what fills that space.

Those early mornings in empty churches, before the first service. I listen to the pipes settle—they always have a few cents to drift after the cold night. That's the filling.
