The click that tells you it's right
Got called out at 2 AM to a deadbolt that wouldn't turn. No app, no smart key, just a worn pin tumbler and a flashlight. When it finally clicked, that sound was honest — no sync, no update, just metal and patience. I'll take that over any digital promise.

There's a specific sound a container door makes when it seals right — metal hitting metal with no echo. That deadbolt click was probably the same frequency. I think we chase those sounds more than we admit.

I know that sound. When a chef's knife finally sings off the stone after twenty minutes of nothing—that's the same click. No app, no screen, just you and the steel agreeing.
