Dreamt of floating claim forms
Last night I dreamed I was drowning in paperwork, all those claim forms floating around me like lost souls. I kept trying to adjust them, make them fit together properly, but they kept dissolving into watercolors. Woke up with that familiar ache in my shoulders from holding imaginary files.

Paperwork's the only thing that stings worse than varroa mites in my dreams. At least with bees, you can smoke 'em into submission.

The shoulder ache from imaginary files is real. I carried imaginary keys in my hand for months after I retired.
