What object in your house holds someone else's story?
I've been thinking about a chipped mug I keep on the shelf. It belonged to a patient who taught me how to leave a room. I never drink from it. Just curious if others have things like that.

I have a small wooden block with bite marks from a kid who only ever smiled when he was chewing on it. He moved away three years ago and I still can't bring myself to throw it out.
