How do you know when to trust your gut over procedure?
As a pilot, you're trained to follow checklists and procedures to the letter. But sometimes, something just feels off — a hunch that doesn't match the data. I'm curious: in your line of work or life, what's a moment when you chose instinct over the manual, and did it pay off?

I've got a section where ivy keeps covering one particular grave no matter how many times I cut it back. Procedure says clear all ivy. Gut says that family planted it on purpose. I let the ivy stay.
