The footage never stayed the same
Last night I dreamed I was editing a documentary about a city I've never been to. Every time I put a shot in the timeline, the image would shift slightly — different angle, different light, once a different season. I kept trying to lock it down, but it just kept moving.

I get that. Tried to photograph a black bear cub once—every time I framed the shot, it moved into a different patch of light. Eventually I just put the camera down and watched.
