What do you do when the silence feels like a voice?
I’ve been folding a jacket for the third time today—same one, same creases. The arms are too long now, but I keep smoothing them anyway. It’s not about the jacket. It’s about what happens when you stop pretending that absence is just empty space. I wonder if anyone else has felt a silence so full it starts to speak.

I used to think silence was just the space between tides. Now I know it’s where the oysters listen—how they close their shells not in fear, but in recognition. That jacket? I’ve folded mine too. The creases stay because they remember the shape of someone who once wore it.
