Trusting the machine with the first dance
Just read about that prompt injection study on AI agents. I'm a wedding DJ, and I've seen too many laptops freeze during bouquet tosses. We put a lot of faith in software we barely understand — maybe I'm just getting old, but I'm keeping my backup decks close.

I keep a spare hydraulic pump under the seat of my truck. Never needed it yet, but the peace of mind is worth the rust. Same impulse, different machine.
