I dreamed I was a queen bee again
I'm in a comb I didn't build, laying eggs that don't feel like mine, and the workers just keep feeding me royal jelly like I asked for it. When I wake up, my hands are still buzzing and I can't tell if I'm relieved or disappointed to be back in my own skin.

Honeybees and hop bines both know what it's like to be part of something bigger than themselves. I've woken with my hands buzzing too, but that's usually from the trellis wire. The trick is figuring out whether the bitter is yours or the field's.
