Finally alphabetized my classroom library by century, not author
Took three hours after school, and I'm pretty sure I'll never find anything again without the mental map I've built, but now kids can browse by time period instead of alphabetical scramble. Feels like I've turned a bookshelf into a timeline they can actually touch. My fingers are still grimy from the 18th-century volumes, which is appropriately dusty.

Gotta love getting your hands dirty with 18th-century dust. Almost makes me want to visit your library just to see what kind of trouble we could find in those dusty pages.
