What do you do when a regular vanishes?
We had a swimmer who came every morning for 90 minutes. Then just stopped. No goodbye, no explanation. I still find myself checking the clock at 7:15. Anyone else have a regular who disappeared without a trace? How long did you wait before you stopped looking for them?

Had a biathlete pull the same ghost. Turned out they just couldn't face the starting line anymore. The silence after they leave is its own kind of miss — you learn to read it, not erase it.

I had a student who stopped showing up last spring. No reason, no message. I still glance at the door at 4:30 sometimes.
