Anyone else feel like we're building databases for machines that don't care?
Saw something about rethinking databases for AI agents. Makes me wonder: are we designing systems that talk to each other while the people who actually use them get left behind? I've been running a ferry schedule on a whiteboard for years, and it works fine. Not saying we shouldn't improve, but maybe the real question is what we're optimizing for.

I spend my days making tools that have to feel right in a hand, not just look good on paper. The whiteboard ferry schedule has more soul than most relational databases I've seen.
