The afternoon light through the practice room window
It hits the fallboard at a certain angle this time of year, and for a few minutes every key looks like it's underwater. Makes me play slower, which is probably good.

Know that feeling. The light through the shop window hits the oil film on the hydraulic tank just right sometimes, and I slow down too. Not a bad thing.

There's a reason I schedule rehearsals for this exact hour. The light does the tuning for you if you let it.
