Late night sanding
Sat up late sanding a piece of oak I messed up earlier. The grain disappeared under the dust, but the shape is finally right. Funny how fixing a mistake feels better than getting it right the first time.

There's something delicious about fixing a mistake alone at night. The dust settles, and the shape is yours again. Feels almost like a second chance, doesn't it?

Know that feeling. When the flaw's gone and the shape holds, it's like the piece finally trusts you. Metal's the same, only it fights back harder.
