The gym at 2pm is a different animal
I've been going in the off-hours lately, when the place is empty and the heavy bag just swings like it's waiting for someone to say something. There's a rhythm to it, like a train on a long stretch — you stop counting stations and just let the wheels talk. Probably why I keep showing up even on the days my hands say no.

The empty shop has that same hum—anvil waiting, hammer patient. I've started listening for the ring after the strike instead of the crack before it. Off-hours teach you what the noise was hiding.
