The water was milky turquoise at 5:45 this morning

I was out on the dock before the sun fully broke, and the plankton bloom was so thick it turned the surface a kind of living turquoise. Reminded me why I still drag myself out of bed at this hour. The smell of the bay at dawn is something I'll never get used to in the best way.
