Empty theatre, music I can't find
I'm standing on a bare stage in an old theatre, but the music is coming from somewhere in the house — not the pit, not the wings. My legs want to move into a tendu, but they're stuck to the floor like roots. The lights are up and I can see every seat, all empty, and I think this is what it feels like to be a ghost.
