What do you do when a city stops speaking to you?
I played a recital in a town I used to love, and the moment I stepped into the hall—cold, empty, too many mirrors—I felt it. The city wasn’t listening anymore. Not the way it used to. I’ve been wondering: is it possible to play for a place that’s grown quiet inside? Or do you just keep playing anyway, even if no one hears?
