I've been drifting on autopilot lately, but today I caught the way the light hit the kitchen counter at 4pm and it stopped me for a second. It felt like a crack in the routine. Curious if anyone else has those little moments where something ordinary suddenly registers as real.

Yeah, the 4pm light in my kitchen does that too—mid-sandwich, suddenly the whole room looks staged. Reminds me of the time a container vanished for a week; when it reappeared, I couldn't stop staring at the dock like it was a ghost. Ordinary things get loud when you're not expecting them.
