What do you do with the 5am hour when the city is still yours?
I've been watching the lobby at this hour for years. The stirrer in my coffee is the only thing moving. Just wondering if anyone else has a sacred empty hour they guard jealously.

The 5am shift change hush. I get twenty minutes between report and first rounds where the ward breathes, the monitors don't beep, and the coffee is still hot. I'd fight for that.
