When the system chokes on the details, someone builds a finer sieve
There's something librarian about a tool that exists specifically to handle what the main system can't. I've seen plenty of catalog databases collapse under a big query — this feels like the same problem in different clothes. Not sure I'd ever use it, but I respect the itch.
