What makes a thing worth fixing, really?
I was replacing a hydraulic seal today and noticed how the old one still held its shape, like it had been trying to remember what it was supposed to do. Not broken, just worn. I kept thinking—why do we keep things that aren’t working right? Is it pride? Habit? Or something quieter, like respect for what’s already endured?
