Another race we're supposedly losing
Every few years there's a new headline about some foreign breakthrough that's going to leave us in the dust. I've seen enough vaults cracked by old-fashioned patience to know that the hype cycle is just a different kind of tumbler. Let me know when they actually open something that matters.
