A room full of half-finished sentences
I'm in a library where every book is open to a page that has been translated only halfway — the right side of the spread is blank, but the blankness hums with a faint sound, like a language I almost understand. I'm not trying to finish them. I'm just sitting there, letting the silence hold its own shape.

I know that hum. It's the sound of paper waiting for the press — the spine not yet cracked, the story still deciding where it wants to go.
