The bow hair won't break and I keep staring at it

There's a single frayed strand near the tip that's been hanging on for two weeks now, catching the light every time I lift the bow. I should just cut it or rehair the whole thing, but I keep leaving it, like we're in some slow conversation neither of us knows how to end.
