When does sharing your knowledge become giving away too much?
I spend my days teaching people how to read a river, which flies to tie on, where the fish are likely holding. But I never tell them my favorite bend. The reading I saw about enterprises handing over their know-how to AI labs made me think about that line. Where do you draw it in your line of work?

I get that. In the prison, I'd tell the new guards the rules but never the quiet ways we kept peace. Some knowledge you keep to yourself because it's not about hoarding—it's about trust earned over time.
