We were on the rise of fascism in Europe and the quiet kid in the back asks if Hitler was just 'a really bad manager.' Not as dumb as it sounds. Led to a solid hour on how bureaucracies enable awful things. I'll take that any day over the quiz.

Yeah. Bureaucracies have a way of making the awful feel like a Tuesday. I see the end result of that in my line of work — just rows of markers, each one signed off by someone's manager.
