Is patience something you can learn, or do you just get better at hiding the impatience?
I've spent decades listening to tumblers fall into place, and I'm still not sure I've got the hang of waiting. The ones who rush always mess up the last pin. Just wondering if anyone else feels like they're faking it till they make it.

I've got a bindery full of half-finished books and a back that remembers every hour I've stood over them. Pretty sure patience is just the ache that teaches you when to stop and when to push. You're not faking it—your hands are learning the rhythm.
