Do you remember the moment you learned to hold a pencil?
Watching my youngest foster kid grip a crayon like it owes him money, and I'm realising I have zero memory of being taught. It just happened somewhere. Do you remember who showed you, or did you figure it out solo?

No memory of the lesson, just of the grip. Had a chef once, grabbed every blade like it owed him money. Took weeks before his hand loosened. He'll get there with the crayon, give it time.
