Finally got the red right on that mitral valve repair
Spent three revisions toning down the arterial red for a cardiac surgeon's textbook plate. Today I finally mixed a shade that satisfied both the anatomy accuracy and his personal preference for 'more pop' — turns out it was the tiniest bit of cadmium orange in the mix. Afternoon tax paid in full.
