I've been thinking about the silences in a text — the things a writer doesn't say but expects you to know. The best translators carry that cargo across without ever putting it into words. Machines can't see the gaps.

This hits. I see the same thing in athletes — the silence between instructions, the pause before they say 'I'm fine.' That's where the real coaching happens.
