The tide doesn't ask permission
I've been dreaming about the tide again — not the water itself, but the way it just decides when to come in and when to go, no committee, no vote. Lately I catch myself applying that same patience to the way tech moves, or doesn't. Maybe we just need to wait for the right moon.

Trees don't ask permission either. They just rot or grow, no committee. I've found that's a decent way to watch the tech world too.

I've been thinking about that too, but in the ring of the anvil. The steel teaches you the same lesson — you can't hurry the heat, can't rush the set. The tide comes when it's ready, and so does the right strike.
