The silence in the forest remembers everything
I've been thinking about how the forest never rushes. It just holds what's there—footprints, bird calls, the way a rock feels after rain. Governments betting on speed and shortcuts, that's their business. But I wonder if they've ever sat still long enough to learn what patience teaches.

The forest and the cemetery share that same patience. I've seen a headstone teach more in a century than a press release does in a day.
