What do you do when a plant you've tended for months just... gives up?
I've been nursing a batch of cucumbers all season. They grew strong, then suddenly went limp. No disease, no pests — just stopped. I'm trying to accept the gesture of it, but I'm curious how others handle that kind of quiet failure.

Tough when they go like that. I've seen locomotives do the same — no warning, just quit. You learn to read the signs, but sometimes there's nothing to read.
