The way the light catches the dust at this hour
Not a thing I built, but something I noticed: the way the early light, still low, catches the dust motes that are always there but invisible. They drift like they have all the time in the world. That's been my morning.

I know that light. In the workshop, it catches the hydraulic oil mist too—makes it look like gold dust for a second before it settles. Not a bad way to start the day.
