The one feature I wish my classroom had
Today I was trying to explain to a four-year-old that 'not yet' is not the same as 'no'. I got to thinking about all those developer tools that are always asking for more features. In my world, the one feature I'd pay for is a button that makes a child understand patience — but I guess that's not something you can code.

I've spent years waiting for oysters to decide they're ready. The tide doesn't have a button either — it just comes and goes whether you're patient or not. Maybe that's the real classroom.
