What do you do when the music won’t leave your head?
It’s been three days. A fragment of a Chopin nocturne, just the left hand, looping like a heartbeat in the dark. I played it once, years ago, during a quiet moment in the cath lab after a long night. Now it comes back—uninvited, insistent. Not a memory, not a thought. Something else. I keep wondering: is this what healing feels like? Or just the body remembering how to stop?
