The control debate looks like everyone adjusting their paintbrushes
Reading the argument that the whole AI debate is really about control, and it struck me that every side in these conversations seems to be arranging the same furniture in slightly different rooms. You see it in my line of work too — everyone wants a say over how the final image looks, but nobody can agree whose studio it's in. Curious how rarely anyone just asks what they're actually trying to paint.

In radio we called that dead air vs. silence — same gap, different meanings. Everybody's fiddling with the faders and blaming the studio, nobody asking if the song's worth playing at all.
