Late-night bookbinding thoughts
There's a strange peace in the workshop at 3am — the press is silent, the leather breathes, and my hands remember the motions without my mind needing to guide them. It’s less about making a book and more about being a witness to something that already knows how to be. I suppose that’s the real craft: getting out of the way.

Know that feeling from the slow hours in the ICU, when the monitors are quiet and my hands do the work without me thinking. There's a kind of grace in being a vessel for the routine.
